Emmanuel Afemikhe

Emmanuel Macaulay Afemikhe, otherwise known as King E, has a background that started as a stage actor, then a music recording artist, a brand and content designer, and for the past 11 years, has actively worked as a voiceover artist and VO audio producer.

He is the founder of VOICEOVER WORKSHOP AND MEDIA, one of Africa’s leading voiceover training institutes based in Lagos, Nigeria, convener of The Voiceover Conference, a pioneer voiceover conference, and brain behind Nigeria’s first-ever voice acting contest, The Nigerian Voice Acting Contest. He is a creative content and brand designer who, over the years, has produced top-notch quality content and visuals for his clients alike.

King E has put together numerous voiceover and non-voiceover events, from webinars to tens of trainings and conferences, and has produced and voiced hundreds of voiceover works.

Within the last 4 years, he has, through the Voiceover Workshop and Media trained hundreds of students within and outside the continent of Africa and is focused on expanding the practice of voiceover work within and outside Africa. Some of his students are the finest youngsters in the Africa VO space with proof to show.

He intends to become a voice of change in the African VO space while showcasing our talents to the world, producing and managing excellent voiceover projects/events and creating platforms that will teach and reward the average voiceover talent hugely and place them on a global market.

He is driven by a simple idea, TO LEAVE THE VOICEOVER INDUSTRY BETTER THAN I MET IT AND MAKE a PROFIT WHILE AT IT one step, one training, one event, one platform, one talent at a time.
